Agenda

Agenda Highlights

  1. Opportunities and Challenges of Sustainability
    Evaluation for Corporates
Investors assess corporate business value with sustainability evaluation. Is the evaluation simply for assessing investment risk, or does it also measure a corporation’s positive influence towards the environment and society? As corporates strive to become the benchmark of their industry, the opportunities and challenges of sustainability evaluation is fascinating.
  2. Timely and Moderate Transparency: Disclosure vs. Greenwashing
Corporate sustainability strategies can only be effectively implemented through the collaboration between departments. However, the knowledge of sustainability is too immense, making it difficult to be communicated to each department and causing inconsistency. One of COP27’s main focuses is on how to define the line between the communication of transparent disclosure and greenwashing. Viewpoint analyses shared by domestic and international standard and framework development organizations is knowledge a sustainability practitioner does not want to miss.
  3. Accelerated Energy Transition
In response to intensifying climate changes, net-zero emission has become the priority for countries and corporates globally, with energy transition as a key factor. Taiwan, as an export-oriented economy, is in urgent need of applying highly effective net-zero emission transformation strategies. Not only is this important to a successful transformation, the “how” of this accelerated
  4. Driving Sustainability Management through Technology
Corporates are increasing their ESG information disclosure items, including natural capital management, emission data analysis, etc. These information need to leverage technology support and systematic management to effectively help corporations check, monitor and improve their status. Sustainability management is entering a new era through technology innovation.
